Welcome to Nicaragua

Nicaragua is beautiful, welcoming and amazing. We had a safe and uneventful flight, which means everyone had a passport and the flights were on time. This afternoon, the children of the school we will be building welcomed us with dancing and singing.  They swarmed and smiled and hugged and gave us unconditional love.  They were enamoured with our sunglasses and cameras.  Thankfully, many in our group speak Spanish and had a great time speaking to the kids.  Beth Roach asked for dance lessons , which she received on the spot to everyone's delight. We ended the day with a great dinner and reflections on our day.  What a great start.
